   2- Wipe Cache in Recovery Mode (that is, reboot to recovery and then English, then Wipe Cache...)

   hold the power + volume down key
   go to language
   cache
   clear cache

   (some names may vary)

    Turn off your device then go to recovery

    Once phone is fully off

    Hold volume down and power button until it boots up. Then go to cache and wipe cache

    When I do it I get 'wipe data and cache' so I go to 'advanced', but I still only get 'wipe data and cache'. If I need to do this at all for issues, is it ok to wipe both data and cache or will cause issues please? What's the difference between the two as I only have that one option.

    You have OP8, this is the OP5 forum

    it should be no different anyway
    when you touch wipe cache and wipe data
    it should give you a separate menu to clear cache or data
    wipe cache
    wipe data
    You touch one of the two, to delete the selected option
